At Cherry Glade Church, we strive to provide a variety of ministries that allow you to grow in your faith and connect with others. We believe that being a part of a community is an important part of walking with Jesus, and we welcome you to join us.
Junior Youth
Junior Youth is for middle school students, and they meet approximately twice per month. Click the button below to learn more.
Youth Group
The Youth Group is a group of high-school aged students who meet every Friday and Sunday evening. Events vary from Bible studies, game nights, hiking, biking, theme nights, banquets, etc. Current events can be found in the bulletin or on the calendar page. KidStuf & FirstLook
KidStuf (grades K-5th grade) and FirstLook (ages 2-preschool) are our children's ministries. They are held on the first and third Sundays of each month during the worship service.
Helping Hands
Helping Hands meets at the church on the second Tuesday of every month from 9AM-3:30PM in addition to some Monday evenings. They knot comforters and make kits for those local and in other countries that lack the comforts that we have. Everyone is welcome to attend. Bring a covered dish for a potluck at noon.
Mom's Group
The goal of this group is to allow children to play together and allow mothers to connect with one another. They meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. They do Bible studies, discuss podcasts, or listen to words of wisdom from more seasoned mothers. Events in the summer tend to be more informal due the the increase in number of children attending. These events could include visiting a local park, coffee shop, or going swimming. Everyone brings a covered dish to share in a potluck meal at noon. Contact Linda Yoder for more information.
Senior Meals
Senior meals are served in the fellowship hall the second Friday of each month at noon. This is open to anyone who considers themselves a senior. Those who do not attend Cherry Glade are more than welcome to attend. If you have interest in assisting with senior meals, contact Sarah Bender (301-616-4221).
Care Team
We have a care team who visits different members of the congregation. If you have interest in joining this team, or if you desire a visit, please reach out to ddhtice@comcast.net or nate@questforhopecounseling.com
Vacation Bible School
Happening every summer and open to Kindergarten through 5th grade. Stay tuned for 2024 registration and volunteer opportunities!

Easter Play: Behold the King
Behold the King is drama written by Esther Yoder. It is a reenactment of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Due to the intensive work load of putting on such a production, it is only held every other year. Since the portrayal of Jesus' death is graphic in nature, we advise that it may not be suitable for children under the age of 10-12. Click the button below to learn more.
